The 2026 Personal Finance Challenge is being conducted in two phases. The first will be an online test that will run March 2nd - March 11th.

 

The top five teams in the state and the top two Access Zone (1 per teacher) will be invited to participate in the in-person State Finals April 2nd at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

The top team from the state competition AND the Access Zone winner will represent Georgia at the  National Personal Finance Challenge finals in Atlanta May 27-29, 2026. 

• Each member of the winning team, along with the coach will receive a $100 gift cards in addition to other prizes.
• Each member of the second place team, along with the coach, will receive a $50 gift card.

Every public and private high school student in Georgia is invited to compete in the FinanceChallenge. Teachers can create multiple teams for the online testing round.
