All Illinois high school students are eligible to participate in the Illinois Personal Finance Challenge (IPFC). Students compete in teams of three or four and must be registered, and coached, by a teacher.

 

Fall 2026

• Registration opens: September 22
• New teachers register by: December 7
• Testing window open: November 16 – December 11

 

Spring 2027

• Registration opens: January 11

• New teachers register by: March 15

• Testing window open: March 1 – March 19

• In-person State Finals: Tuesday, April 20

• National Finals: TBD
