All Illinois high school students are eligible to participate in the Illinois Personal Finance Challenge (IPFC). Students compete in teams of three or four and must be registered, and coached, by a teacher.

 

Fall 2025

• Registration opens: September 15
• New teachers register by: December 8
• Testing window open: November 17 – December 12

 

Spring 2026

• Registration opens: January 12

• New teachers register by: March 16

• Testing window open: March 2 – March 20

• In-person State Finals: Tuesday, April 14

• National Finals: May 31 – June 1
