Indiana Personal Finance Challenge

The Indiana Personal Finance Challenge is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge of personal finance by competing against students from across the state.

Any Indiana students in grades 6-12  (including any home-based student) is eligible to participate in the Indiana Personal Finance Challenge.  Students in grades 6-8 compete in the Middle School Division (online only).  Students in grades 9-12 compete in the High School Division (Online qualifying round and top schools advance to state in person competition on April 14).  Prizes and awards are given!  The winning state high school team will be invited to advance to the National Personal Finance Challenge in Lincoln, Nebraska in May!


Competition Timeline:

January 31, 2020 - Teacher/Coach/Team Registration Begins.  No Registration Fee!

March 6, 2020 Registration ENDS!

March 25, 2020 - Announcement of the State Champions!
(State-Level Prizes will be awarded in each division (Middle School and High School)

February 17 - March 20, 2020 - Take Online Test!  

April 14, 2020 - In Person State Finals

May 3-4, 2020 - National Finals in Lincoln, NE
