2024 RI Personal Finance Challenge Key Dates

• January 19, 2024 - Registration opens for the 2024 RI Personal Finance Challenge. High school and middle school teachers can register their teams of 3-4 students. 
• March 11 - April 12, 2024 - The 2024 RI Personal Finance Challenge Competition is ONLINE!  The 35-minute student competition is taken online at schools under the supervision of their teacher or an approved proctor.  
• April 16, 2024 - The Rhode Island high school and middle school winning teams will be announced.
• May 19 - 20, 2024 - The 2024 National Personal Finance Challenge will be held in Cleveland Ohio at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. The first place RI high school team will be invited to attend and represent our state at this case-study competition. National Personal Finance Challenge - Council for Economic Education (councilforeconed.org)
• June 2024 - Winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place RI teams in high school and middle school divisions will be recognized at a RI state awards ceremony. 

Every high school and middle school student in Rhode Island is invited to compete in the 2024 Personal Finance Challenge with the support of their teacher. Teachers can create as many student teams as they'd like (3-4 students per team). The online 2024 RI Personal Finance Challenge is free for all Rhode Island teachers and their students.

Good luck to all our student competitors! The 2024 RI Personal Finance Challenge ONLINE! is a great way to flex your intellectual muscles and participate with students from across Rhode Island in an exciting and fun competition.

Join hundreds of high school students and middle school students from across our state to compete in this personal finance challenge.

Teachers- Register your students/teams starting on January 19, 2024.  Once the testing site opens March 11 - April 12, 2024, share the testing codes with individual students so that they can take the Challenge online under your supervision during the March 11 - April 12, 2024 state testing period.

Students - Study hard! The 2024 Personal Finance Challenge ONLINE! will test you and your knowledge of personal finance. It's a great opportunity to achieve state recognition for your accomplishments.
